More pictures of Malimong

Please pray for this mother. Her son died in February. He was playing near a creek and got washed away, they found his body later.  I am sure she would appreciate your prayers.
We are so happy for the pencils and candy from America. Thank you Miss Lee for the gift card so I could buy these items for many children.
This is the room I stayed in at the Church.
The girl recieved the shirt and the boy the sweater and pants from the suitcase that was donated from America! "special Thanks" to the Bible Study Group!
These are cards that Annetta Sykes' Church donated for the use of a craft. Me' Rami wants to add verses to the cards. So it was decided to do it another Sunday.
This picture was taken at night, this is the girl who lead the Saturday night service, as you can see they are using one candle to light the room, sometimes they had 2 candles, when it was not used else where.
Me' Rami with uniform and shoes for the orphans. Special "Thank-you" for the Churches in America that donated the money for this project!
When I was in America, friends of mine, from a Bible Study group, donated a suitcase of clothes. This is one of the girls that received the pink sweater.

Weekend at Malimong

This is the Church that I spent the night in on Saturday, May 5. This was real culture for me. Of course none of the conveniences I am use to such as shower and indoor toilet. Never the less, it was a blessed weekend. On Saturday evening, while Me' Rami and I were eating, I could hear the children singing and praying. My first time to see the children having Church on their own. I was so touched. Many children spent the night in the Church as well.  The service that the Children conducted lasted till almost 10pm. They do this every Saturday night.
Sunday Lunch I was served. Papa, like cornmeal and beans with meat. Very good! Many orphan children really enjoy this meal as well.

I had a wonderful weekend at Malimong

We had a great time walking and singing at night, with the moon light shining our way at the village of Malimong. It was great to be with these children
We are so happy for the pencils we received! Somone gave me a gift card while I was in America, I used it to buy lead pencils and candy. I was able to give to many children.
I saw this, dug out, washed out, place (not sure what to call it) at Baloing. I don't recall seeing it before.
Me' cooking papa for the orphans!
Me' Rami, pastor, with uniform/shoes for the orphans! Special appreciate to the Churches that donated for this project!

We had a wonderful time passing out the Samaritan purse gifts at Baloing village. The children were so happy. It was a joy to be there.
